Seven Packards and 31 members made it to the Return-to-Kiama Rally in December 2025 to celebrate PACA’s 60th anniversary. Located two hours south of Sydney, Kiama was also the site of the club’s inaugural run in December 1965. However, the 2025 two-day rally was more a celebration than a rally as only one short run was scheduled – and that was to a delicious fish restaurant! Mostly it was a weekend of socialising and soaking up the atmosphere of PACA’s 60th birthday that has seen the club transform from a letter-to-the-editor in a magazine to a national club with 150 members and 240 Packards on the register. The 60th anniversary built on the 30th, 40th and 50th anniversaries that were held in Kiama as well, and a booklet that was produced for those anniversaries was updated and emailed to club members (see below). A highlight of the weekend was the premiere of a video about the club’s founder, Gwen MacRae, which bought Gwen to life with the help of AI (see below). The rally also doubled as the NSW’s Christmas party and a club auction of books and memorabilia. On the last day (Sunday), ralliers visited Kiama’s famous “blowhole” for the mandatory picture which included six Packards and 27 members.
