Car information

This Packard was in the Ken Townsend Collection for quite a number of years as a 62,000-mile survivor.  Ken advised me that he believed that the original owner was Kenneth Myer of the Myer Emporium.  John Parton extensively restored the car and Frank Bourke had it for some years until I brought the car.   It now has 72,000 miles on the clock and I redid the original engine last year.  It is a very nice car to drive and Ann and I went from Canberra to Melbourne and back in the one day for Gary Rogers funeral in 2007 (July 5).  It will sit on a genuine 70 mph all day and is very comfortable.
