1939 Super Eight 1708 Touring Limousine

Car information

I purchased my 1939 from the Gosford Classic Car Museum Aug 2019. This Packard was previously owned by Bruce Smith. He imported the car from John Mitchell in Dallas, Texas. Shortly after it arrived in Australia in the late 1970s it was purchased by Max Hood who did a complete restoration. He owned and drove the car for many years but then sold it to Andrew Lidden, perhaps in the mid 1990s. It sat in Andrew Lidden’s collection for many years until it was sold off to the Gosford Museum after Andrew suddenly past away in 2016.
