1938 Richards Packard Six Touring Sedan

This Richards ( South Australia ) bodied Packard was exhibited at the 1938 Adelaide Motor Show by Sporting Cars Limited. Following the Show the vehicle was sold to a NSW Doctor and registered as NSW CA 487. I purchased the vehicle in 1973 for$300 and the vehicle had 80,000 miles on the speedo. It even had the Packard San Tex seat covers still on the rear seats. The vehicle now has 124,000 miles on the chassis and runs very well. I have fitted a 1939 R6 overdrive and a 4.36 rear end. It drives very well.
