1937 Super Eight 1502 Touring Limousine

Car information

I bought this car in 1965, when I was 18 yrs old. It was advertised in Saturday’s ‘Age’ in Melbourne, more than four hours away. I paid 160 pounds for it and drove it home from Melbourne. The first owner was the Howard Smith Shipping Company, and it had been chauffer driven. I still have the microphone that fits in a pocket in the armrest at the back. I bought the car from Len Fullerton who worked at TAA in the city, he was the second owner. The car has a divided window which separates the front from the back seats, also two jump seats that fold out from the back of the front seat.
