Car information

Dark Blue (Packard Blue) 1936 Straight 8, 120B Sports Coupe. The previous owner was the American Consulate in Adelaide. The car was bought by father in 1938 and I learnt to drive in it. It’s affectionately known as “Matilda”. Matilda spent WWII on blocks due to petrol rationing and was restored in the 1970s. I remembers as a child sitting in the dickie seat and freezing all the way from Adelaide to Clare (country SA) to visit my aunt. My daughters also remember driving to Swan Hill on a Packard Rally in the dickie seat and freezing all the way!
