1929 640 Limousine

Car information

Our 1929 640 limousine (Major P) was originally delivered into Uruguay. We believe it was owned by the Mayor of Montevideo. Major P was then bought to North America by a collector and sold into Australia as he is right hand drive. Passing through a couple of owners he arrived with us – completely dismantled. Over a few years we conducted a full rebuild. I was lucky to buy 6 wood spoked wheels in the USA from different vendors and then had them re spoked in Australia using hickory. Major P is a grand champion of the club having won a number of awards at Hawkesbury National Rally. A truly magnificent car to drive.
