We hope this website will showcase our club and match new and potential members with a model of their choosing. Enjoy our wonderful cars and website.

Packard was the first car maker to introduce refrigerated air conditioning in 1939.

About us

The Packard Automobile Club of Australia (PACA) was started in 1965 by a small group of enthusiasts to conserve, preserve and appreciate the American marque.

Since then, PACA has helped restore hundreds of Packards throughout Australia and developed an organisational structure for its members in all states and territories.

The club is incorporated in NSW, with a national executive committee. The Victorian Region is a branch of PACA, while all other states have a loose network of informal groups.

South Australia, Western Australia, Tasmania, Queensland and the ACT have a representative on the national committee.

PACA currently has 151 members and 241 cars on its register.

It conducts a National Rally every two year, with the states and territories conducting smaller and multiple runs and events each year.

Club life is promoted in a full-colour quarterly magazine, The Packardian.

The magazine is supported by a Facebook page and a website, which has a “Members Only” login to access three forums.

PACA is a one-make club and only provides conditional registration to Packards.

Packards were made from 1898 to 1958.
